That means the price estimates you see reflect what a real encounter actually costs, not just a single line item.
- Median Allowed Amounts: The contractually agreed rate between your health plan and the provider — including both plan payment and your share.
- Typical Price Range: The spread from the 25th to 75th percentile of what people with commercial insurance actually paid for the same service.
