Association Health Plan (AHP)

How would you like to purchase a health insurance policy that is 30% cheaper and provides proper network access?

The Department of Labor (DOL) recently released final rules on Association Health Plans (AHP’s) The final rule allows for small employers to band together to obtain access to group health insurance.

The health plan will be required to be regulated by the State of Indiana.

Here at Nefouse & Associates, Inc., we are a health insurance brokerage that has been in operation for 30 years.  We are active in all lines of health insurance coverage, we pioneered the ACA and became the number one producer for off-exchange sales.

Our experience in the individual market has led us to look to develop an Association Health plan for small business owners that don’t qualify for group coverage.  Under the rules of DOL, an Insurance company is not allowed to start an AHP, which leaves very few people that have the knowledge or the desire to start one.

We are at preliminary stages of developing an AHP for Indiana business consultants. If you are interested, please sign up for additional communications.
